The ANEW Program aims to increase the number of primary care nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, and certified nurse midwives trained to provide various types of care. Grants will support APRN students/trainees in these fields and promote diversity in recruitment. Eligible applicants include accredited nursing schools, academic health centers, and nonprofit entities, with priority given to those training APRNs for underserved communities or state and local health departments. Individuals and for-profit entities are not eligible.
