Request for Application – Promoting Health Equity in Underserved Populations Across the Commonwealth of Kentucky
This collaborative Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services / Kentucky Department of Health RFA opened in July 2022 and remains open until either funds are exhausted or March 1, 2024. Funding is still available as of February 1, 2023.
Awards are determined by the entity’s ability to promote OHE goals (see Purpose and Goals) and are limited in amount according to the application’s detailed budget. For more information about Kentucky’s basis for the program, see Addressing Health Equity in Public Health Practice.
It is possible that award amounts include the cost of an individual, or a group of individuals, who are required to implement a highly sophisticated effort to accomplish as many goals as possible within the timeframe of the award (or implement data-driven, effective activities to address OHE goals effectively). The award amount will depend on the associated costs associated with implementing the project until March 1, 2024.
Eligible entities are 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, quasi-governmental organizations, and government entities.
