Don’t think of them as a vendor relationship. You are also not dumping this project to them and wiping your hands free of it waiting for them to deliver it on a silver platter. Rather you are expanding your staff with expertise you need to win and guide the health center on what needs to happen. They do the heavy lifting, but you are still going to have a part in getting them what they need quickly so they can support you the most. A delay in you getting them what they need only hurts you, which is why it is important to keep it simple.

They do great work. We have had more grants funded then grants not funded since working with them. CHALLENGE: For some reason, our doctors couldn’t understand the complexity and detail even when explained to them until they lived through a few site visits to then realize some of these requirements make no sense in treating patients and just HRSA rules to have rules. That’s when they realized it was outside their ability to comprehend and the need for outside expertise. Initially, our founder and physician leadership did not buy-into the idea of spending money on Burrows Consulting. We forced them to trust us (administration). They get it now.
